8-Day Soul of Tanzania – Luxury Safari

Our most famous and the best Africa Luxury Safari is this one because it encapsulates everything that makes up Mujuni African Adventures. While on this tour, you will have the opportunity to engage in fascinating cultural interactions with the Hadzabe tribe in Lake Eyasi, as well as visit all of Tanzania’s northern safari parks (including three nights in the Serengeti, which we believe is the ideal amount of time to spend there)

Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire

At 8 a.m., we will pick you up from your hotel and transport you to a very special national park. To Experience the diverse landscape of Tarangire National Park, famous for its nine different vegetation zones and ancient baobab trees. Observe lions, leopards, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and the highest concentration of elephants in the country, offering unique opportunities to observe family interactions. Enjoy a fascinating lunch area with an observatory that offers amazing views of the river and wildlife. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive before returning to your accommodations. Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park

A beautiful, short journey across the Great Rift Valley will take you on a Luxury Safari to Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive. Despite its small size (205 square miles), the park has stunning scenery and is well known for its lush acacia forest, giant figs, mahogany trees, and a growing population of baboons and blue monkeys. Giraffes, elephants, impalas, and a large number of buffaloes are also permanent residents of this park. The lake also has a large population of hippos. The landscapes of Lake Manyara are indescribably beautiful. Extra tours, such as a bike tour or a boat excursion, are available on this day. You’ll be transferred to the camp for dinner in the afternoon. Accommodation: Kilimamoja Lodge

Day 3: Serengeti National Park

The park covers 6,900 square miles (18,000 square kilometers), and for the most part, the plains stretch to the horizon, defying your senses and perception of distances. It is home to a massive migration of 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and various antelopes. As for big cats and large predators, it’s the place to look for lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas, with many television scenes, including the famous River Crossings, filmed in this park. Day 4-5: Serengeti National Park

The Serengeti National Park will be in your luxury Africa luxury Safari package for several days. We are completely open to your preferences, and these days will be planned by them. Every day of the safari, your guide will discuss the best time for you, including game drives and wake-up calls. For example, on this day, you could go on a morning game drive, then return to camp for lunch and relaxation before going on another afternoon game drive. You could also go on a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch. Accommodation: Melia Serengeti Lodge

Day 6: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

Rise early for an exhilarating game drive and breathtaking sunrise, followed by brunch. Next, visit the awe-inspiring Ngorongoro, East Africa’s native wildlife hub. The crater boasts 2,000-foot high walls, Noah’s Ark-like appearance, and diverse ecosystems ranging from forests to open plains. It’s home to almost all of East Africa’s wildlife, including the world’s largest elephants and black rhinos. The crater’s soda lake is teeming with flamingos. This unforgettable African luxury safari experience offers rare elephant sightings and black rhino encounters. Accommodation: Ngorongoro Lion’s Paw Camp

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater

We’ll start the day early and descend into the crater floor for a spectacular morning of wildlife viewing in one of the most beautiful places on the planet. Following the game drive, there will be time for a picnic lunch near Hippo Lake. After lunch, we’ll go on a short game drive before ascending the crater and leaving Ngorongoro Conservation Area for Lake Eyasi. The following day, you will have a one-of-a-kind and fascinating cultural experience. Accommodation: Kisima Ngeda Camp

Day 8: Lake Eyasi and the Hadzabe Tribe

Join the Hadzabe, one of Africa’s last nomadic tribes, for a unique off-the-beaten-path experience. Participate in their daily activities and learn about their way of life this does not feel at all as a luxury safari but the amazing photographic opportunities are incredible.The day ends with a visit to Lake Eyasi before returning to Arusha.
